Tailgate Link Up!
We are only 2 days away from the kick off of College Football! I can't wait to see Vandy whoop South Carolina! Ok, that probably won't happen, but I'll be cheering for them anyways! Then on Saturday, I'll be cheering on Alabama AT the Chickfila Kickoff Game with Auburn vs. Clemson. May as well cheer on Clemson in the suite during commercial breaks!
We all know that with SEC football, comes game day fashion! Should I go casual or dressy? One things for sure, I'll be wearing my most comfortable cowboy boots!

H.S. Football Kickoff!
Usually I feel like my weeks fly by but this week has dragged on and on! I am so ready for the weekend. We get to kick off football season with the "SEC of High School Football". We are going to the Georgia Dome to watch Camden County vs. Peachtree Ridge. It will be a family affair because my brother in law coaches at Camden County and my cousin in law's (is that such a thing?) husband coaches at Peachtree Ridge.

Then we get to go celebrate a couple of birthdays. My sister in law, Laura, and I will be celebrating #27 and #30! Eek! I cant believe it's been 5 years since we celebrated #22 and #25 together!

Tailgate Tuesday Link Up!
This is THE EASIEST dip you can make and it's always been a hit at my house!
Cream Cheese Salsa Dip
Spread a layer of Cream Cheese on the bottom of a pie dish
Add a thin layer of Salsa. I use Pace Picante
Add Mexican blend Shredded Cheese on top.
Cook on 350 until cheese melts.

I found out that one of the blogs I just began to follow, Southern Color is also from Atlanta and they will hopefully be attending my Holiday Shopping Bazaar in November. I've already requested 3 of these pillows for myself! The perfect gift for my Southern Momma and Grandmomma!
Tonight, I get to go to the Braves game with my bestie, and blogger friend, Lindsey at Sensible Nonsense. Check out the table she refinished this week. I can't wait to have her refinish my husband's old bedroom furniture!

Tailgating Party!
Happy Wednesday! In case anyone has not been keeping up with the College Football Countdown, we are down to 15 days (17 for most teams).
I am planning my neighborhood's Annual Concert on the Lawn and this year I am aiming for a Tailgating theme. I am trying desperately to get big screen tv's with satellites so we can have some of the games on, but it's been harder than I thought.
I have a few local vendors that I am really excited about participating.
Bottles with Benefits will be there. They hand paints wine bottles and wine glasses.
I'm pretty sure I need this!
First and Ten Gameday Dresses is also going to participate.
They sell game day dresses and accessories!
I found First and Ten Gameday Dresses through one of my new favorite blogs- Southern Color on Tailgate Tuesday! I'm hoping I can convince them to also participate in some of my upcoming events! They have done some of the cutest DIY projects!
Be sure to check out all of these websites! They are great!
I am also hoping to have some local vendors participate and bring corn hole and other Tailgating games. We will probably have between 200-300 people at this event. I am trying to find it in my budget to order some wing platters, but am hoping everyone will also bring their own favorite Tailgating snacks to share! If you have any other Tailgating suggestions for me please let me know!
